To celebrate the launch of UKTV's new Drama channel, the network unveiled a life-sized statue of the actor made entirely out of chocolate. No, this is no April Fools' Day joke. Cumberbatch earned the honor of being transformed into chocolatey deliciousness following a national poll which crowned him Britain's "dishiest" TV drama star. The Sherlock actor won over David Tennant, Idris Elba, Damian Lewis, and Sean Bean.
An eight-person team of "chocolate gurus" crafted the chocolate masterpiece, which is 6-feet-tall, weights 88 pounds, and was created using over 500 melted bars of Belgian chocolate. Here's a closer look:
